JKR has stated that the final word of DH is no longer “scar,” as she has said it would be for years. She also claims to have cried as she wrote a chapter that had been planned for a particularly long time, and that as she finished writing, she felt a mix of euphoria and devastation. Theories and Speculation
In OotP we learn that Aunt Petunia knows more about the Wizarding World that we expected when she reveals she knows what Dementors are and who Voldemort is. JKR has provided some teasers about Petunia that prompted me to speculate about her magical abilities.

As we are all getting ready to view OotP, I thought it might be interesting to share my list of all the “out of sorts” things that happened to Harry in the book. Many fans criticized the book because they felt Harry was not himself. A quick look at this list might help fans see why.

A genealogist has discovered Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) descends from witches! Well, not really, but he does descend from persons accused of witchcraft in the Salem Witch Trials, including John Proctor, who playwright Arthur Miller used as his protagonist in The Crucible.
Our next carnival will celebrate the release of the final book. In order to spend more time reading DH, I will be compiling the carnival earlier than usual, so I have had to move up the deadline for submissions.
