Restoring the Pensieve
I meant to work on restoring the Pensieve today, but I didn’t have time. It looks like it might be a while before this site looked like it used to. However, I do have the images stored. I will need to tweak the template now that I am using Word Press. I probably have the old template somewhere, but it was Movable Type template.
I didn’t want you all to think I was abandoning this project. I am not too worried about inconveniencing readers, as my site statistics have not shown that I have many 
, but I did want the few of you who stop by on occasion to know I will be back in business soon, and I plan to relaunch the site with the next Harry Potter Carnival. See you then.

When you rebuild the Pensieve, would it be possible to include a question/discussion area? Maybe that is already covered by the carnival concept…
Anyway, your sister posed this question: “How come house-elves are able to apparate on Hogwarts grounds?”
The Lexicon acknowledges that they can, but gives no theories. I believe that they are just more powerful than normal wizards. It may also be that they are purposely exempted so they may carry out their domestic duties.

A wiki sounds like a really cool idea. Can you set one up? A quick Google search found three promising HP wikis already in existence.

Aw shucks. And in answer to your question, yes I can set one up. I already have two for my classes. I might use the opportunity to try out the same wiki software that Wikipedia uses: Media Wiki.
